After more than 50 years in the butchery business, I still get excited about a good cut of meat and the joy of feeding our community. We opened The Legendary Butcher in 2020, a family-run business with one goal: to bring top-quality, fresh, grade-A meat to the people we care about. But for me, it’s never been just about the meat—it’s about the connections and the traditions that come with it. I believe that good food, especially a great cut of meat, has a way of bringing people together. Whether it’s a weekend braai or a big family gathering, our community deserves the best, and that’s what we’re here to provide. We don’t do mass-produced, grocery-store meats. Where do you deliver? Currently we deliver premium products to the following areas: Pretoria: Covers Pretoria North, Wonderpark and surrounding areas, Montana, Magalieskruin, Doringkloof, Roodeplaat, Sinoville and surrounds, Moot, Villeria, Brooklyn, Menlyn, Waterkloof, Groenkloof, Moreleta Park, Garsfontein, Faerie Glen, and nearby neighbourhoods. Centurion: Covers Rooihuiskraal, Midstream, Heritage Hill, Irene, and surrounding areas. Midrand, Sandton, and Fourways: Includes Bryanston, Randburg, and nearby areas. (For other areas in Johannesburg, please confirm availability before placing your order.) Don’t see your area? Contact us via email or WhatsApp, and we’ll gladly check if we can arrange a delivery route to your location! Q: When do you deliver? We deliver all orders placed before 10:30 AM on the same day. Orders placed after 10:30 AM will be given the option to be scheduled for delivery the following day or on a day that best suits your schedule. Feel free to inquire about deliveries to outlying areas! We deliver Monday – Friday excluding public holidays. Q: What are your delivery charges? Pretoria and Roodeplaat: Orders under R1000: R49 Orders above R1000: Free Additional charges may apply for outlying areas. Centurion & Midstream: Orders under R1500: R79 Orders above R1500: Free Additional charges may apply for outlying areas. Products will be delivered using our refrigerated vehicles. Once delivery is complete, all responsibility for maintaining the correct product temperature will transfer to you.
